See The World From a New Prespective

As a photographer, it always fascinates me how people can capture a completely different picture of the same place. You will understand what I’m talking about when you visit this site called “daily overview”. They have a collection of satellite pictures taken from a bird's eye view of places all over the world. This project was inspired by the overview effect that astronauts have when they view the earth from above as a whole. It is fascinating to see how places that I have visited before could look this different and beautiful from above. These pictures are really a work of art

The overview pictures in the website remind me of how looking at things from a new perspective can change the way we perceive them, and can give us valuable insight. We must stop and think before we make any assumptions or form opinions about the world around us.

The above picture of the Potash Mine in Moab, Utah is my personal favorite.

Check them out and be inspired!
