Buzzfeed Food Videos!

I’ve noticed that a few other people have shared BuzzFeed links for their blog posts and I decided to add on to those with a link from their “Food” section. Over the last few months there has been an abundance of food videos that have been shared on my Facebook timeline that show simple ways to make new and delicious meals/ snacks that take an original idea, such as pizza, and transform it into something a little different and equally (or even more) tasty. BuzzFeed produces many of these videos under the “Food” category on their website where they will take everyone’s favourite meals/ snacks and give it a new, exciting twist! I love watching these videos and they give people (especially hungry university students) cooking ideas that are fairly simple and fun. Even if I am not attempting to make these meals, they are still very fun to watch and leave me wanting to try them. For any food lovers, these BuzzFeed videos will be right up your alley!

Enjoy!

  1. Hi Katie, I to am an avid Buzzfeed watcher. I find majority of their articles very interesting but the food videos are my favourite ones. I often find ideas for what I can make or easy meals to make on a small budget. Buzzfeed is great for the university age group because of the wide range of categories and content is directed normally to people in their twenty’s. Like I said I commonly find ideas for recipes but have not actually attempted to make any of these particular recipes. Just curious if you have ever tried recipes found on this site? if so did it work out the way you expected it to?

  2. Thanks for sharing this link to this Buzzfeed article, I actually didn't know there was a food section an am definitely going to look into it. Pizza flavoured anything is always a selling feature to me, as I think many other people will agree. Having the learn how to cook after moving out for university made me look online for simple recipes, and I think I'll try this one out :)

  3. As a food lover, the Buzzfeed video you linked is definitely right up my alley! I love how BuzzFeed is always posting about easy and affordable food options that cater to students. As university students sometimes cooking can feel impossible, but with the help of Buzzfeed's simple recipes that don't require too many trips to the grocery store, cooking becomes much easier. I too have noticed a larger than usual amount of food videos being posted to my Facebook timeline. I believe this to be because everyone is back in school and they are all looking for inspiration! I also love Buzzfeed's videos because I feel as though they are written by university students, which makes them genuine and realistic. Thanks for sharing! Ill definitely have to try one of the recipes out soon.

  4. Hey Katie, thank you for sharing this post! I too have a Facebook timeline full of BuzzFeed videos and you’re right this is a great way for hungry university students to find new ways to make creative meals. My favourite video would have to be, how people make pizza crust from CAULIFLOWER! It’s always been something I would love to try as a healthy alternative and it seems pretty simple based off of the BussFeed videos.
Louise makes a great point by mentioning, many BuzzFeed articles are probably written by university students just like us, who are on a budget and don’t have a whole lot of time to whip up some extravagant meal. Thank you for sharing this, I will definitely look into trying some of their recipes.
