Youtube, in my opinion, is one of the greatest collaborative tools available. People who otherwise would not have access to a sharing their creativity now have a platform available to them where there can share to anyone in the world. The Toronto Blue Jays Anthem parody is a perfect example of how sites like youtube enable creation. Youtube is easily one of my most frequented websites. I can access things like this video, but videos of people reviewing electronics, or trying on clothes. All of this is what makes Youtube a great site to view, and contribute to, giving people everywhere an outlet for collaboration.

This video puts the biggest smile on my face, and it is nice to finally see a Toronto based team succeeding for once. When teams succeed and continue to do well, the fans really show the love towards teams. We haven’t had the best luck with Toronto teams, however we are a nation that knows how to love and support each other when our teams put in the effort, and let me you the Jays are putting in the effort. I’ve always been a Jays fan at heart, but this summer alone has brought the real Jays fan out of me and I could not be more excited for the season to come to a close so the playoffs can begin!
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a lot of fun. GO JAYS GO!
ReplyDeleteI am curious how many people in the class also use the YouTube for things like electronics reviews and "trying on clothes". Actually, what does it mean to watch "trying on clothes" on YouTube? Are these also product reviews?
